Surendra Institute of Engineering and Management was established in the year 2009 under the aegis of a charitable society Bidya Bharti Foundation. It is named in the memory of (Late) Mr. Surendra Agarwal, popularly known as the Iron King of Patna.Being a businessman himself, he always valued the importance of education in a man’s life and cherished the dream of spreading education andproviding skill acquisition and enhancement opportunities to the young generations of the society.

Surendra Institute of Engineering and Management has a sprawling campus with state – of – the art classrooms and laboratories, well equipped library with a huge repository of books relating to various fields of science and engineering, seminar and conference halls, cafeteria, infirmary and separate hostels for boys and girls. The students are exposed to a rigorous, comprehensive and deep grasping of curricular content through experiential learning, most relevant to the modern technology. The institution has a highly motivated team of academicians who are in constant pursuit of learning recent developments in their respective fields.
