Rules & REGULATIONS

1. This is a short film competition and hence ONLY Short Films should be submitted NO DOCUMENTARIES. The entries can be short digital animation films too on the topic.

2. The films shall not be more than 4 minutes (180 seconds), including the beginning and end credits. Films exceeding this time limit are liable to be rejected. The minimum length should be 30 seconds including credits.

3. The film should have been shot / completed after 20th January 2016.

4. The short films may be in their original language, but MUST be subtitled in ENGLISH. Films submitted previously to any other competition will not be considered for this contest. If found later, will be disqualified for the contest/prize withheld.

5. The films have to be shot in MPEG4 or AVI format. The recommended ratios is 16:9.

6. The participants grant ALACRITY the non-exclusive rights to screen (non – commercial).

7. The Film must not contain any copyrighted work(s) belonging to third parties unless Participants have a license to use such works in the Film.

8. Only one film per college has to be submitted for the competition.

9. The winning prize will be entitled to college and not to any individual participant.

10. Maximum of 5 team members per film.

11. The Film file must be carried by the team in a Flash Drive or DVD.

12. Each film will be displayed on the final day where the Judges will watch the films and make the finals comments and judgment.

Last Date for registration is extended by a day i.e 1st March till 11.59 P.M

Submission Date for the short film is : 4th March (day of the Event).
